Pre-Kindergarten Assessment
Have you wondered if your child is ready for Kindergarten? Has he or she developed age-appropriate motor, academic, and social skills to thrive in a school environment? A few sessions with a one-to-one tutor can give you precise feedback in identifying any areas of need. Once identified and put into perspective, you will feel at ease in making informed decisions for future planning and support.

Rapid Automatic Naming ensures that concepts are committed to long term memory with automaticity. Skills are practiced in a variety of learning channels using all senses (SeeSay, HearSay, SeeWrite, ThinkWrite, SeeDo, HearTouch, etc.). By first breaking complex concepts into related increments, significantly higher levels of student learning are achieved.

Tool Skill Fluency
The process of building essential foundation skills for learning is fun, fast-paced, exciting, and highly rewarding. Practice in tool skills will build your child's confidence and dramatically increase his or her success in the classroom. Once fluent performance is achieved in a skill, we look for evidence the student chooses to use the skill without artificial prompts or incentives under conditions where the skill is appropriate. We then check for continued effective use of the skill (retention) after instruction is terminated and for longer periods of use (endurance)

Spelling & Vocabulary

Poor spelling is usually a sign of haste or carelessness, not ignorance or illiteracy. Spelling can be mastered with time and practice using word analysis, spelling rules, and proofreading. Spelling and vocabulary are built through practice in morphographs until students are able to apply their skills to written work and respond to questions in all disciplines.

Typing Our typing method is based on the way in which students learn to read and write. It is personally adapted to each individual and appreciated by those who have been unable to learn under conventional methods. We love to see the relief on their faces and the excitement in the eyes of their parents!

Standardized Test Preparation: SAT, ACT, GED, WASL, Compass
